A game where you draw on screen to do spells

Trace five original glyphs with a mouse, pen, or finger. Your stroke never leaves this browser: a small deterministic matcher scores the shape locally, then the next wave begins.

Draw your first spell

Your spell drawing stays private

Glyph Draw Arena does not upload, store, or identify your pointer path. Recognition happens inside the page after each stroke. The matcher first samples the path at even intervals, then fits it into a normalized square and compares it with one original template. The displayed accuracy is a shape score, not a biometric measurement and not an AI judgment.

No account is required. Run, cast, clear, completion, failure, and replay actions emit local browser events. They stay inside the page by default and after No thanks. Only if you choose Allow analytics may the consent bridge forward a limited action payload to this site's separate Google Analytics property; drawing coordinates and the pointer path are never included.

Five glyphs, one complete defense

Arc rises over a central point. Fork climbs a stem and returns through two angled branches. Loop closes a teardrop. Crown crosses three peaks. Spiral coils inward without closing. Every target uses an original geometry created for this game.

A run calls each glyph once. The shared timer begins at 3:30. Accurate strokes clear a wave and add more score; weak strokes drain the ward but can be tried again. Time creates a short decision loop: draw carefully enough to pass, but do not spend so long that the defense collapses.

How to play Glyph Draw Arena

Press Start Run, inspect the target, and draw one continuous stroke in the parchment area. Begin and end where the target dots indicate. Release the pointer to cast. A score of 68% or higher clears the current wave. Lower scores show feedback and leave the same target ready for another attempt.

Use Clear Stroke before release only when a pointer is still active, or after a result to reset the surface. Survive all five waves to complete the run. The dedicated How to Play page includes keyboard focus behavior, scoring, privacy, and mobile guidance.

Accuracy rewards rhythm, not copying pixels

The recognizer is tolerant of canvas size and hand scale. It compares the path's progression through the gesture, so a smooth smaller Arc can beat a shaky large Arc. Rotating a glyph or reversing its direction changes the score because the spell is meant to be learned as a deliberate motion. A pointer path with too few points is rejected instead of being given a misleading percentage.

Designed for mouse, pen, and touch

Pointer Events provide one shared input path across current browsers. The canvas prevents page scrolling only while a player is actively drawing. On narrow screens the target, HUD, parchment, and buttons form one vertical sequence, while controls retain large touch targets and the entire game remains usable at 390 CSS pixels.

Questions about the drawing game

Is this an AI spell recognizer?

No. It is a small deterministic comparison against five local templates. The same normalized path produces the same score.

Does the game save my drawings?

No. Stroke points exist only in memory for the current cast and are discarded when the canvas is cleared or the page closes.

Can I play the whole game free?

Yes. All five waves, every target glyph, the accuracy feedback, completion screen, and replay are available without payment or registration.
