Privacy notice

Effective August 8, 2026. Glyph Draw Arena works without an account, payment, advertising profile, or remote score service. It does not ask for a name, email address, age, exact location, or login credential. Google Analytics 4 is optional and remains blocked unless you choose Allow in the local consent panel.

Pointer paths remain on the device

While you draw, the page temporarily holds pointer coordinates in the tab's memory so it can render the stroke and calculate a game accuracy score. The code samples and normalizes those coordinates locally. It does not upload them, write them to browser storage, convert them into an image, or use them to infer identity. Clearing the canvas, moving to another wave, refreshing, or closing the tab discards the active path.

Optional Google Analytics 4

The consent panel offers Allow and No thanks. The default and No thanks states load no Google script and send no game event to Google. If you choose Allow, the page loads Google Analytics 4 measurement ID G-VLFTKNBQWJ for this site only. It may process page views and game actions such as run start, anonymous glyph name, accuracy number, completion, failure, clear, and replay together with ordinary device and connection information described by Google's policies. The drawing coordinates themselves are never included.

Your choice is kept in localStorage under a site-specific key so the page can respect it on a later visit. The project does not set analytics consent for another site. A local CustomEvent remains observable inside this page regardless of consent; the bridge sends it to GA4 only while the Allow state is active.

Withdrawal

Withdraw consent updates the Google consent state to denied, disables the site's analytics sender, removes the loader element, expires accessible Google Analytics cookies for this host, and records No thanks for future page loads. The page cannot retract events already delivered while consent was active, and browser or network controls may also affect cookie removal. Reloading after withdrawal does not load the Google script.

Hosting and normal request logs

If this build is deployed to the stated Cloudflare Pages address, Cloudflare may process ordinary connection information needed to serve the files, such as an IP address, requested path, timestamp, and browser headers. That infrastructure processing is governed by Cloudflare's own policies and is separate from the local drawing matcher and optional analytics choice.

External contact and changes

The Contact page links to GitHub, which has its own terms. Do not post private drawings or sensitive personal data in a public issue. A material collection change requires a dated update here. Questions can use the public GitHub contact route. The game stores no server-side player account for the operator to delete.
