Terms of service

Effective August 8, 2026. These terms apply to your use of the Glyph Draw Arena website and browser game. By using the site, you agree to use it lawfully and understand that this is a small experimental entertainment project. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Free experimental game

The current release is offered without payment, registration, rewards, wagers, or purchases. A score, accuracy percentage, ward result, or completion screen has no cash value and is not proof of handwriting ability, artistic skill, identity, academic performance, or professional qualification. Rules and balancing may change as the project learns from real use.

Acceptable use

You may play the game, link to its public pages, and use ordinary browser accessibility tools. You may not attempt to disrupt hosting, probe accounts you do not control, inject malicious code, misrepresent a local result as an official certification, or use the contact route for spam, harassment, unlawful material, or credential requests.

Original work and third-party software

The five gesture templates, game rules, interface design, writing, and generated visual assets are original project work unless a notice states otherwise. The build uses open-source software identified in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.md in the source package. Those components remain subject to their own licenses. These terms do not transfer trademarks, copyright, or other ownership rights to a player.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” The operator does not promise uninterrupted access, compatibility with every browser or assistive technology, preservation of a score, error-free recognition, search ranking, fitness for a specific purpose, or future availability. To the extent permitted by applicable law, use is at your own risk.

Limitation and termination

To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data damages arising from use or inability to use the game. Access may be limited or ended to protect the site, comply with law, or retire the experiment. Provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, and limitations survive termination.

Questions about these terms can be raised through the public GitHub profile. Do not post confidential information. Any mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived remain unaffected.
